The TEI
Curriculum equals
eight courses at
12-hours each, and
is designed for the
grassroots of the
church. At the
conclusion of the
series, I am
confident that every
person who has
completed it will
have great
competence in the
content and ethics
of the Bible, and
great confidence in
sharing the Gospel
with even the most
well educated and
motivated skeptics.
The courses work
well over five
weeks, one night per
week; or in a
concentrated weekend
schedule of three
hours on a Thursday
evening, three hours
on a Friday night
and six hours on a
Saturday, and
possibly lightening
the pace by
finishing on a
Sunday night.

1. Only
Genesis:
-
The
all-defining
biblical story
line of creation,
sin and
redemption.
-
The four
all-defining
subjects of the
biblical order of
creation: God >
Life > Choice >
Sex.
-
The ten
positive
assumptions of
Only Genesis
(which is the same
as the biblical
order of
creation): God’s
nature,
communication,
human nature,
human freedom,
hard questions,
human sexuality,
science and the
scientific method,
verifiable
history,
covenantal law and
unalienable
rights.
-
The six
pillars of
biblical power
(the first four
come from the
order of creation,
the second two
from the order of
redemption): the
power to give, the
power to live in
the light, the
power of informed
choice, the power
to love hard
questions, to
power to love
enemies and the
power to forgive.
This foundation
interprets all of
the Bible and
life, and is
traced repeatedly
through the rest
of the curriculum.
